Tasks application should be installed on your smartphone to be accessible any time even if there is no internet network. It will help you to organize your life, reach your aims faster, focus on important things and not to forget to do things. Using it you will become more productive and successful.

Mandatory features of tasks organizer:
- Possibility to work permanently offline
- Manually change the order of tasks (preferably by dragging them)
- Hide future tasks
- Assign tag (category, context, group, list) to a task (at least one, better if more than one)
- Repeating tasks (new task is created independently if the previous one was completed)
- Regenerating tasks (new task is created only after the previous one was completed)
- Task recurring every Mon, Wed, Fri
- Task recurring every 1st date of each month
- Task recurring every 32 days
- Task recurring every 1 Jan

The best program for Android is Due Today.

DueToday (for Android)

- Link tasks to contacts from address book (in order to know what I should do with a person when I meet him)
- Display tag names in tasks (not only tag label)
- Select multiple tasks
- Select multiple tasks which are not nearby
- Duplicate parent tasks together with subtasks (parent tasks could be used as template checklists). It is possible in GQueues: www.gqueues.com/help/tasks#duplicateWithSubs

Bugs:
- "Drag and drop tasks to order them" works bad - does not look nice and often a neighbor task disappears and stays invisible until you exit the list of tasks and enter it again. In Business Tasks and Every Task the feature of dragging tasks is implemented better.

    1 comment:

    1. From my research of almost all the task apps on android, I have found Tasks+ to be THE BEST.
However, the developer seems to have abandoned the project since there is no response to mails and there has been no improvements for almost a year.
