Why somebody might want Kyrgyzstan to join Russia

Why somebody might want Kyrgyzstan to join Russia:

- Russia has higher life standard, longer life expectancy, higher education level of people.

- Wages, pensions, disability allowances, student allowances will become much higher to meet the Russian legislation.

- Kyrgyzstan was already in the same country with Russia for 115 years (1876-1991). Russia industrialized Kyrgyzstan, raised education level dramatically, improved healthcare, brought science and technologies to Kyrgyzstan.

- Russia has been a peaceful country for already many years (unlike the US that has unleashed wars in several countries in recent years).

- People of Russia are close to people of Kyrgyzstan in mentality (the same Russian language, similar traditions and knowledge).

- Russia has been a friendly country towards Kyrgyzstan, it renders informational, economic, educational and military support.

- Many hundreds of thousands of Kyrgyzstanis work in Russia or moved to Russia, most Kyrgyzstanis have relatives and friends living in Russia.

- Accession to Russia will increase freedoms of Kyrgyzstanis, such as the freedom of movement, freedom of language (now Russian is under pressure in favor of Kyrgyz). It will be easier to get a job in Russia and move to Russia. For businessmen in Kyrgyzstan it will be easier to find a business partner in Russia.

- The accession will increase knowledge exchange with Russia. Russian will become more popular in Kyrgyzstan.

- Kyrgyzstan will be better protected from the invasion of Islamist gangs and from revolutions arranged by foreign agents. Kyrgyzstan will also be better protected from possible military conflicts with other countries.

- In case of a natural disaster, such as an earthquake, Russia will help a lot as it has much more powerful anti-emergency forces.

- Russian capital will create many jobs in Kyrgyzstan (hydropower, production, mining, agriculture).

- Education and healthcare will become much better because they will follow Russian standards which are much better.

- The accession will simplify export of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Russia, such as garments, fruit and vegetables, meat.

Though it's more important not what "somebody" thinks but what the majority of Kyrgyzstanis want.
